Client name withheld for confidentiality. A winter ski activities business with barely any leads; and a booking flow that made hesitant visitors even more hesitant.
Leads were low, and the few that did come in weren't converting. The audit's first finding was simple: this business had almost no active presence on social media. For most businesses that's a gap. For this one, it was the whole problem.
Booking a ski activity isn't like buying a product; it's booking an experience, on vacation, with people you've never met. Before someone hands over money for that, they want to know one thing: is the vibe right? Who's teaching them, what the energy is like, what the environment actually looks like. And the place people go to check that isn't the website. It's Instagram Reels.
Vacations are bought on vibe. Before someone pays to ski with you, they want to see who they'll actually be skiing with; and reels are where they go to check.
The second issue was the booking flow itself. The website pushed the booking page as the main call to action everywhere; but asking someone to commit before they've had a single question answered made hesitant visitors more hesitant, not less.
Two problems, two direct fixes; plus the SEO and paid groundwork to bring qualified traffic in.
Started posting reels showing the team's energy and the actual environment, so a visitor could picture the experience before ever reaching out.
Replaced "Book Now" as the main call to action with a WhatsApp chat; so anyone with a question could ask it directly instead of guessing and dropping off.
Deliberately left phone calls off the table. The audience was international; a call meant real cost for them. WhatsApp let anyone reach out for free, in the format they already use daily.
Cleaned up the website copy and layered in SEO and paid search, so the improved experience had qualified traffic actually reaching it.
"Book Now" as the CTA everywhere; asking for a commitment before a single question was answered.
WhatsApp as the CTA; a free, familiar way to ask first, for an international audience that a phone call would have cost.

Nobody books an experience they can't picture, and nobody asks a question through the channel that costs them money. Showing the real vibe before asking for the sale; and removing the highest-friction way to ask a question; did more for lead volume than any amount of extra traffic could have on its own.
If your CTA asks for a commitment before your audience has a reason to trust you, the audit is where we find that gap.
